Bro. David Taylor-Minister of Music
Bro. David Taylor has been a Music Minister since 1988. He has been Minister of Music at Walnut Memorial Baptist Church since August 1993. Bro. David studied music at the Youth Performing Arts School in Louisville, Kentucky and has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Church Music from Kentucky Wesleyan College.
Bro. David’s desire is to lead the church to the Throne Room of God each time we enter worship. He desires to have an exciting, enthusiastic, and joyful music ministry with a balance of different styles of music.
There are many ways to become involved in the music ministry here at Walnut. The Adult choir which sings each Sunday in worship; Easter, God and Country, and Christmas specials; 1-2 concerts each year; and a choir tour to other churches. There are many other music groups as well: Senior Adult Choir, Children and Youth Choirs; Handbell Choir; Instrumental Groups; and Mixed Ensembles.
