Bro. Jeff Hendricks-Pastor
Bro. Jeff Hendricks was called as Pastor of Walnut Memorial Baptist Church in February 2004. He has served in full time Christian ministry as a Pastor since January 1987. Bro. Jeff has a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from Indiana State University, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Bible from Mid-Continent Baptist Bible College.
He married Teresa on September 6th , 1980. They have two children, Trevor and Ryan.
Bro. Jeff’s passion is for people to experience and grow in a renewing spiritual relationship with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, that is both real and personal. He believes that we are never more like Christ than when we are serving others. Someone wrote these words. When I was down, you lifted me up, when I was burdened, you carried my load. When I was sorrowed, you helped ease the pain. When I was angry, you cheered me up. When I was happy, you laughed with me. When I started astray, you gave me direction. When I felt abused, you gave me love. When I needed to talk, you listened with care. When I needed to cry, you comforted me. When I needed a hand, you offered me two. When I needed a friend, you were there. Jesus said, when I was thirsty, you gave a drink. Bro. Jeff desires to lead a church to take serious the “Great Commission” by practically getting involved in the lives of others to help meet their physical needs with the purpose of introducing them to Jesus Christ.
