Helping Hands Kitchen

Our Mission Statement
“We strive to help meet the humanitarian needs of those who are homeless, hungry, or both by serving hot meals with good nutritional value, providing needed personal supplies, and partnering with other ministries to provide additional food, clothing, and assistance in order that the gospel of Jesus can be offered without hindrance.”

Involvement
Helping Hands is operated by volunteers from Walnut Memorial Baptist Church, and has been serving our community since November 2013. We are blessed to partner with volunteers from other churches as well as community organizations for the preparation and serving of meals. We always welcome those who desire to come and serve.

Hours
The doors open every Monday at 5:00 PM for our guests to come in for a cup of coffee and fellowship, and the meal is served at 6:00 PM. Please contact the church office for more details.

Leadership
Helping Hands is overseen by Pastor Shane Kahkola, and operated by Joy Bratcher and Dayana Staples.
